R.B. Rodgers Yacht Sales is the sole U.S. representative for Finngulf Yachts and Jonmeri Yachts of Finland and Latitude 46 of France.
Finngulf and Jonmeri build sailing yachts in the 28 to 48 foot range in the fine tradition of Finnish yacht building.
Latitude 46 is best known for the Tofinou, a beautiful 23 foot daysailer. They also build the Tadorne, a 26 foot “day-and-a-half sailer” and the new Tofinou 9.5, a modern, racy yacht with traditional overtones.
In the power boat line, Latitude builds the striking Andreyale line and a day-boat of 26 feet called the Lady Scarlett.
Rodgers Yacht Sales is also the parent company of Hard Bottom Inflatables LLC, builder of rigid inflatable boats from 14 to 40 ft.
Yacht Brokerage
Rodgers Yacht Sales specializes in brokering fine yachts on an international basis. On one occasion, Bob Rodgers was in Germany selling a Baltic 43 to a British buyer from a Finnish owner using a Dutch surveyor. While we specialize in the yachts we import, we broker all types of sail and power yachts and are happy to assist in locating the proper yacht for a given buyer.
Brokers
Bob Rodgers started R.B. Rodgers Yachts Sales in 1986 as yacht brokerage office and as the U.S. representative for Jonmeri Yachts of Finland. Beginning in 1974, he had created and operated a yacht brokerage at Dodson Boat Yard in Stonington, CT.
Annika Rodgers left Finland and a career in advertising in 1995 to become Mrs. Rodgers and a partner in the yacht sales business.
Toby Halsey joined Rodgers Yacht Sales in 2004 after a twelve year career as a sail designer and sailmaker at Halsey-Lidgard Sails. His extensive knowledge of sailing and the sailing industry prove invaluable tools for the yacht brokerage trade.

From New York, New Haven & Points South:
I-95 to Exit 88 Route 117,
Right off exit ramp onto Route 117 and follow to Route 1.
At Intersection Take Left on to Route 1
At top of hill bear to right onto Route 215
Follow approx. 1.5 miles; Route 215 takes sharp left. Stay on Route 215 to stop sign. Right at stop sign to Mosher Ave; bears right past firehouse. See directions below in Noank.
From Providence, Boston & Points North:
Take I-95 to Exit 89 Allyn Street.
Left off exit and follow approximately 1 mile. Pass one flashing and one regular stop light. Ahead to second stop sign; right on Route 215. Follow approximately 2 miles to first stop sign and take left onto Mosher Ave. See directions below In Noank.
In Noank: Left at stop sign on Main St; first right onto Pearl Street. Follow Pearl Street almost to the end -- there are several stop signs and speed humps. Noank Shipyard on left. Office is the two story building next to lift well located on the second level. |
